2 years have past today i would like to thank everyone for lilys gifts i can still remember my excitement of being my daughters birthing partner along with wayne lilys dad faye lilys mum had gone into labours early hours on the 1st of november after a very hectic halloween party but we held out until midnight when wayne took her to hospital but was sent home as she was only dilated 3 cm so 24hrs later contractions every 3 mins i took her myself after booking in and the midwife writing her obs down on a paper towell they sent her home yet again , monday morning faye had anti-natal booked so off we went after seeing another midwife they booked her into the labour ward and 6cm dilated she was on her way to welcome you into our lifes i couldnt wait and your mummy was sooo good in labour she never moaned she was so good about 10 oclock pm mummy started to push you into the world but about 12am your heart rate dropped and they gave mummy the epidural as she was getting tired now we kept asking questions as i saw mummys blood presure shoot up a few times but was reasured things were ok by the midwife , well to cut the story short at 4.30 the midwife went on her teabreak (i so wish she had called in sick that day) and a young midwife took over as soon as i saw her look at your tracings i knew something was wrong she called down the doctor who said they were getting mummy ready for theartre as she needed help being tired but i knew something wasnt right but in the delivery room they decided to give mummy a c section iwe was sooo excited but as they lifted you out and rushed over too you i felt sick i saw you slowley losing your life you had gone into destress about 9pm and opened your bowels and sadley it wasnt noticed and you swollowed too much our lifes changed forever a big whole in it now but things are on the move so as you celebrate your 2nd birthday with all the other little angels we will see justice is done love you lily-ann xxxxxx
